“Letting women determine for themselves whether or not they need an abortion is a far more efficient and fair system; after all, they know better than perfect strangers the incredible complexity of their personal situations that determine whether or not it’s a good time to have a baby. This right exists for women who can afford to pay for their own abortions; it should be extended to women who depend on assistance to pay for their medical care.” —Via Slate.   (via liquidinterpretations)

“How many homophobes does it take to change a light bulb? None. They fear change, even if it can make the world a brighter place.” —(via iwanttofuckblaine)

“

Self Esteem is easier than you think to gain, and maintain.

If you believe, or at least pretend to believe for even one tiny little part of a second that you are beautiful, it will make others believe the same thing about you. This then doubles your self esteem, causing others to now see you as twice as beautiful than you felt before. By them finding such beauty in you, you again find your self esteem doubling. Your self esteem is now at 400%. Peers and strangers see this confidence within you, and therefore find you more attractive (making you again, believe how beautiful you are). The never-ending cycle continues.

Everyone is beautiful, and such an alarming amount of ‘self-trash-talk’ would not occur, if you’d just for one god damn second, believe in yourself.

“For me, forgiveness and compassion are always linked: how do we hold people accountable for wrongdoing and yet at the same time remain in touch with their humanity enough to believe in their capacity to be transformed?” —bell hooks. (via alithea)
